Teen Photo Session Mini Accordion Album, Products from Point of Rocks Photographer

I got to give this graduated high school senior her images from her spring photo session tonight.  The three mini accordion albums were a little gift, that she wasn't expecting.

Frederick High School Senior-2013, Frederick County Maryland Photographer

We picked the perfect autumn weekend for this photo session.  We ended up changing our location at the last minute from the C&O Canal Tow Path to Sugarloaf Mountain instead and I'm glad we did.  The leaves were in the height of fall colors and the surroundings gave us plenty of pretty backdrops.

Tristan is a Senior at Frederick High School and runs Cross Country. In fact he was getting up at 4am the following day to run in the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC.

I had a great time with Tristan, his mother and grandmother and he was a good sport as we teased him about girls and trying to look warm on an otherwise chilly fall day.

I can't wait to share these images with his family! Enjoy!

Brunswick High School Senior Portraits, Frederick Maryland Photographer

A beautiful day to take this pretty teen out for her Senior Photo Session.  She has been to the Lander Road Lock House (located upstream from Point of Rocks and downstream from Brunswick High School) with her friends a lot over the years.  What a nice way to commemorate her senior year.   She is a sister, daughter, athlete and all around fantastic, young lady. (My sons would add she is a cool babysitter too).

Look at her blonde locks.

She looks like a California Girl here transplanted to the shores of the Potomac River.

We couldn't help but call her a Flower Child.  She then told me she was born in the wrong era.

Her eyes are so striking-I did nothing to enhance them in this photo.
I LOVE this photo!

Her eyes even stand out in Black & White!

November Family Afternoon, Frederick Maryland Photographer

This multi-generational family likes their games whether it is Scrabble or football.  In fact I hated to break up the scrabble game to head outside for some photos.  The boys had no trouble getting into a game of football once we were outside.  Would you guess that the youngest family member (age 4) is the grandson?  The younger boys seem more like brothers rather than uncle and nephew!

Thank you for inviting me into your beautiful home!

Rocky Point Creamery Sunflowers, Frederick MD Photographer

Sunflowers at Rocky Point Creamery in Point of Rocks are being sold for $1.00 and proceeds benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Wouldn't this make a perfect spot for a portrait session with Andrea's Point Photography?  Grab a ice cream cone, a bouquet of sunflowers and make a memory!

Brunswick High School Senior, Class of 2012, Frederick MD Photographer

Chloe is graduating with the Class of 2012 from Brunswick High School in Frederick County, Maryland. She starts college at The University of Maryland in the fall.

I've know Chloe to be a dancer, athlete and dependable teenage babysitter for my sons.  In fact she was my son Luke's first crush!
Photos taken in Frederick and Point of Rocks, Maryland
She is the youngest of three daughters and was raised in Point of Rocks, Maryland.  We ended the photo session at the Point of Rocks Train Station where he father departs on the train each morning.  She said she had always wanted to walk on the railroad tracks (if I thought it was safe enough).  Her mom made sure no trains were coming and saw the symbolism of the tracks by commenting,  "Graduating high school and seeking her track... A new journey."

Favorite books read in high school include: To Kill a Mockingbird  and Animal Farm

Favorite Music:  Jack Johnson and John Mayer

She has served as Miss Point of Rocks, 2011-2012

In her free time she likes to relax by reading a book or when she's feeling more upbeat she likes to hangout with friends.

As we were leaving the train station Chloe's mother pointed out one of the many trees her father had planted near the station as his daughters were growing up (yes, he is sort of like Johnny Appleseed).  Chloe went and sat under a towering pine that was once the family Christmas tree, possibly even the same year Chloe was born.  What a nice way to round out the fun photo session for a beautiful young woman.
